2012 – Women’s Passions
This series share the passions and expertise of women in the community through an informal presentation format that followed with Q&A.Â It look at a variety of topics including: Women’s Wellness, Literacy, Genetically Modified Food, Community Development, etc.Â There were 12 events in total hosted by The Art We Are and it was funded in part by the City of Kamloops’ Social Planning Grant.
2011 – Local Authors
This series had local authors share with participants information about writing, getting published and making a life as a professional author.Â It looked at writing from a creative and academic perspective and included 6 events.
2010 – Financial Advice
This series share financial information and strategies with women of the communities.Â It discussed budgeting, financial planning and other finance related topics to help increase the knowledge of the women who participated.Â There were 4 events in this series.
